Mud Run
I was struggling through the oozing mud. My tired limbs were collapsing as they scrambled through a river of mud. This disastrous concoction was made from dirt, water, and fallen branches. We were surrounded by a beautiful forest, but what was underneath our feet was disgusting. I was tramping through a long track with every consistency of mud there is!
I held on to anything I could grasp to keep moving. This was an impossible task and I became cemented to the ground. I needed help to be extracted from the mud. I was lucky to be surrounded by lovely people that helped me all the way through. I was tempted to give up, but if I did I would be in stranded in this misery forever.
I looked liked a zombie stumbling and hobbling along as I dragged myself away from the mud run and towards my friends and classmates. I had a face masked with mud, and a body conditioned with mud. I was unrecognisable. I felt like a medal was being stamped around my neck for participating in such an agonising experience. However, for every tear there were oodles of laughs, smiles that recovered the hate. I have had my lifetime worth of mud.
